Supporting mothers, beyond birth.

Tessa is a digital project focused on supporting women through the postpartum period — with greater care, clarity, and compassion.

Postnatal care today can be fragmented, brief, or simply unavailable. Many mums are left feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or unseen — just when they need clarity, continuity, and compassion.

The postpartum journey is significant: physically, emotionally, and mentally. We believe that support for mothers should be just as thoughtful and continuous as it is for their babies.

Our goal is to change that by making trusted, accessible postpartum support available to all mothers — in a way that feels personal, practical, and respectful of each individual journey.

The early days and months after birth — often called the “fourth trimester” — are some of the most physically and emotionally demanding times in a mother’s life. And yet, support too often fades just as the real questions, challenges, and healing begin.

Who we are

We’re a small team of medical professionals and product developers, working together to bring a long-overdue vision to life.

Tessa is built on both clinical insight and lived experience, with a shared commitment to listening, learning, and building with care.

We’re in our early stages — speaking with mothers, midwives, and health professionals across the UK to better understand what’s needed and how we can help.

If you’re currently pregnant or postpartum, we’d love to hear from you.
